Foritas Contingency Plans for Customers Impacted by Flatiron Steam Pipe Explosion in NYC

New York, NY – July 19, 2018 0900H EST – If your business telecommunications or building access has been effected by the steam pipe explosion at 21st & 5th Avenue today, please be aware that we are here to help.

Foritas would like you to know of the following contingency plans that we can provide for you:

1. Foritas has a limited amount of work space at our 19 West 21st Street location which is NOT affected by the event.  We have building access and working communications that we can make available to our customers on a first come, first serve basis at no charge.
2. Foritas has AMPLE working facilities at our office in South Orange, NJ, steps from NJ Transit and about a 30 minute commute from Penn Station.  These facilities are available for our customer use – at no charge.
3. If you are a carrier or Hosted PBX client of Foritas, we can assist you with re-routing your incoming calls to an alternate location.
