Beginning at approximately 11:30am today, our call center in New York City began receiving calls from individuals reporting that they received a call from our main number 212-675-6565. In some cases the individual reported that the caller identified themselves as Frontier Communications or Comcast and needed more information from the targeted victim.
Based on this activity, we have contacted our telecom service providers and verified that the calls HAVE NOT come from any of our communications platforms. Unfortunately, we have no control over the carrier originating these calls to make them stop.
It appears that we are mutual victims of a call spoofing event where bad actors are using our main phone number to attempt fraudulent activity.
